Day 2
I made a late decision to actually create this blog this morning after a request from Pete and as you can see by the Title I wasn't really concentrating (or was that a bit hung over) at the time, and so tavelling (not travelling) south was created.
Read in the paper this morning that the highway was blocked at Bullahdelah in both directions for 3 hours yesterday arvo - we must have missed the crash by about three quarters of an hour..........
Had an uneventful drive into the heart of Newcastle this morning to be pleasantly surprised that in a large city like Newcastle the main drag there had virtually no traffic and very few people.

Paid to park the car and wandered around the streets of Newcastle in the morning it was very windy so didn't venture to the beach. Had lunch at the Brewery and walked back along the foreshore to the newer area in front of our appartment. There are lots of restaurants and bars to sample close by tonight.

The appartment is very well equiped and comfortable but unfortunately the view could be a little more interesting. Time for a rum and coke me thinks.
